Alouettes' Calvillo to take leave of absence

Calvillo's wife, Alexia, needs to be hospitalized to investigate a pulmonary problem just one week after giving birth to their second daughter.

In the 2007 season, Calvillo has amassed 3,608 passing yards and 17 touchdowns while throwing eight interceptions.

The most interesting game of the opening week will feature the NFC champion Bears as they hit the road to take on the NFL’s top team during last year’s regular season, the San Diego Chargers.
